Dr. Kenneth Krowne and his wonderful staff have been providing excellent dental care for thousands of people of the greater Boston community for over thirty years. While the majority of our patients live in and around Brookline, several travel from locations as far away as Atlanta, London and even Bangkok. One of our guiding principles has been to work to build long-lasting relationships. Many patients have been with us for over thirty years. By doing high quality work that lasts for many years, and by being interested in people, we demonstrate our commitment to our patients' overall well-being as well as caring for their teeth. As an example, many statistics cite that a dental crown lasts, on the average, about six years. In fact, insurance companies will pay to replace a crown that develops flaws after only five years. We don't consider that time-frame to be a particularly successful result. Very few of the fillings or crowns that we have placed over the last twenty-five years have needed to be replaced. Websites often include an enormous amount of information listing the services dentists provide, and then provide elaborate descriptions of the procedures offered. We prefer to meet with prospective patients to discuss any and all of your questions, or concerns in a more personal way. If you are new to the area, or if you've lived here for a few years and haven't yet been to the dentist because you've been busy with your schooling, job or family we'd be happy to have you be a part of our practice. Similarly, if your previous dentist has retired, or the current situation where you have been treated is not remediable, please come see us and let's see if our practice is a good fit for you.
