Dr. Catharine Song

Dr. Song is a creative who sees dentistry as more than a profession. She considers her work as not just contributing to each patient’s improved oral health and well-being, but as a means to impact their lives on a deeper level. She believes this is her calling. Dr. Song received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. At UNC, Dr. Song’s mentors, some of which are the most acclaimed doctors in aesthetic dentistry, recognized and praised her exceptional craftsmanship, artistic eye, manual dexterity, and efficiency. Encouragement from her mentors and her desire to apply her artistic skill caused Dr. Song’s interest in cosmetic dentistry to grow, along with her passion for revitalizing smiles. Dr. Song is a professionally trained artist who earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University. At NYU, she honed her visual arts and architecture design skills. Upon returning from her studies in High Renaissance art and architecture in Florence, Italy, Dr. Song held a solo exhibition, My 9 Angles, His 8 Angles. The mural expressed her adoration for nature and her desire to emulate its delicate perfection. While she was attending dental school, a number of her works were sold at auction to benefit the DEAH DAY fund. Striving for excellence and top-notch dental service, Dr. Song never misses an opportunity to master the latest techniques, keeps abreast of the newest scientific advances, and incorporates her artistic expertise into all that she does.
