Tamar Rogoszinski, DMD Dr. Tamar Rogoszinski was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she gained additional experience in comprehensive dental care. She then went on to complete her specialty training in Periodontics at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. During her specialty training, she received advanced training in the full scope of periodontal and implant therapy and became certified in LANAP laser periodontal therapy. She is board-eligible through the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Rogoszinski’s path to dentistry was shaped by her own experiences as a lifelong dental patient. Having undergone extensive dental treatment across many different specialties and having spent much of her life genuinely afraid of going to the dentist, she understands firsthand how vulnerable it can feel to be in the dental chair. Those experiences ultimately inspired her to become a dentist herself and continue to shape the way she cares for her patients today. She strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and fully informed about their treatment. Dr. Rogoszinski believes that excellent periodontal care is about more than achieving a successful clinical result. Her goal is to help her patients achieve and maintain a healthy mouth while also making sure they understand their treatment options and feel confident in the care they are receiving. Her own history as an anxious dental patient allows her to bring a unique level of empathy and patience to every appointment. As a periodontist, Dr. Rogoszinski particularly enjoys procedures that allow her to restore both the health and function of her patients’ smiles. Her clinical interests include dental implant therapy, periodontal surgery, bone and soft-tissue grafting, and laser periodontal treatment. She enjoys working closely with patients and their restorative dentists to develop individualized treatment plans designed around each patient’s needs and long-term oral health. Above all, Dr. Rogoszinski wants her patients to know that she understands what it feels like to be on the other side of the dental chair. Her goal is for every patient to feel that their concerns are taken seriously, their questions are welcome, and they have a provider who genuinely cares about making their experience as comfortable as possible. Outside of the office, Dr. Rogoszinski loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys creating mosaic art and has always loved working with her hands, a passion that carries over naturally into the precision and creativity she enjoys in periodontics.
