Ghada was my hygienist and she was so sweet! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years so my teeth weren’t in the best health. However, Ghada made me feel so comfortable during treatment. She was gentle and careful as she didn’t want me to feel too much pain. If you could choose your hygienist, I recommend her! Especially if you have teeth sensitivities and are worried about feeling pain.

Everything is perfect!

My hygienist was thorough and did a great job of explaining everything. My doctor was friendly and also very knowledgeable, and helped walk me through treatment options.

I went to the dentist because I clench my jaw a lot while sleeping, and I left without any solution or plan to address it, since the dentist only focused on telling me that I need surgery for an infection he said I had, which had nothing to do with the reason for my visit. The overall attention was good; they were punctual, kind, and explained things clearly. However, I think there was little communication beforehand about what was going to be done. Before the appointment, I messaged them to ask how much the visit would cost according to my insurance, and they told me $25 CAD, but they failed to mention there would be additional costs, such as X-rays. I ended up paying $100, which I understand is fair considering the treatment I received, but I would have appreciated having clearer information in advance. The cleaning was very hard for me. I admit I was feeling anxious, which I mentioned before starting, but the procedure was painful and long, and at times I felt the hygienist was losing patience, repeatedly telling me to relax as if I could control it, when clearly it was something I couldn’t.

I had a great first-time experience at West Ajax Dental! My hygienist Ghada was very patient and welcoming and she took her time during my cleaning. The receptionist Eugenia was also very helpful and helped me sort out my insurance.
